This is the final section of “Concessions” by @umphreysmcgee

I added *very* subtle changes every ~8 bars to make the slow ramp up in intensity match the band. Panning the spheres a few degrees sent the beams in new directions; a slight increase in the rate of the color effect; and then finally bumping up the speed of mirror ball rotation to finish it off.

A unique lighting rig + in-house projections = big, fun looks. A great opportunity to blend the two visual mediums … Lighting+video doing asymmetrical swirls, angular rainbows, weird fractals, etc all with MA and Resolume playing nicely together!

Plus the good memories of getting caught w/ weed at Snoop Dogg in high school at this same venue lolzzzzzz

When Umphrey’s covers Radiohead, so does the lighting design… just need Bayliss to wiggle around like Thom more next time 😂

Always fun when the band covers a tune from an artist with specific visual information. Makes for a nice challenge; I get the setlist around 3pm, and they have a repertoire of about 300 covers to choose from!
